How much freezer space will I need if I am buying in bulk?

Being prepared for your purchase can be tricky. Use this as a guide to make sure that you have the proper means of storing your purchase. If you are buying in bulk, a 1/4 cow will need approximately 5 cubic feet of freezer space.

How will my beef be packaged?

Our products are vacuum-sealed and will be frozen when you receive them. Vacuum sealing helps you protect your beef in the freezer and allows for longer storage. Generally, frozen meat should be eaten within a year of purchase.

How will I pick up my beef?

If you order in bulk (1/4, 1/2, or whole) your purchase will be picked up at the processor. The processor does not supply boxes or coolers for transport. Smaller quantities, our Bundle Boxes, will be available for pick up locally at our farm or at 1048 South Main Street at the Park Plaza Shopping Center in Ellijay. Your pick-up orders will be packaged in a box or boxes. We currently do not deliver.

Can I request specific cuts for my bundle box?

In order to give all customers an equal variety of cuts, no substitutions or special requests can be made. We will always do our best to provide you with a wide variety of cuts. When processing a cow, roughly 50% will be ground beef. A cow only has a limited number of steaks. Buying Farm-to-table is not like going to the retail store and selecting only choice cuts. The advantage to buying Farm-to-table is that you are able to be exposed to new cuts of beef that you can grill, roast, smoke, or stew. Sampling new recipes can be fun!

Do you have farm tours or activities?

No, at this time we do not have any agritourism-type activities on the farm. We will add new details to our social media and our website when those opportunities are available.
